It Was All A Dream: Dream Machine

Yesterday, I attended a really cool interactive experience in Brooklyn called Dream Machine. I initially discovered it through Instagram after I saw a couple of people I follow post pictures and it looked like a fun activity to indulge in. So, I decided to check it out :)

Tickets for this experience were a little pricey but worth it in my opinion. The admission price was $38, but because you can only buy them in advance online, you also have to pay a fee. With that included, it came out to $40 each. The ticket is also non-refundable (unless you pay for an insurance fee) so make sure you are for sure going to make it on the day that you choose and the time slot that you pick!

The Dream Machine experience is made up of 8 interactive rooms all creatively decorated and completely different from each other. There is also a secret room that I would suggest keeping an eye out for because it was quite mesmerizing. The theme of each room was unique and every inch of every room was an Instagram lover's paradise. I had a great time interacting with the atmosphere in each dream room and taking amazing pictures. So, keep scrolling to get a glimpse into the Dream Machine world. At the end I will be sharing a couple of "know before you go" tips to help you enjoy this exhibit even more! Enjoy!

"Know Before You Go" Tips:

  • Make sure you give yourself enough time to get there keeping in mind traffic and or public transportation issues. We got stuck in traffic and were 15 minutes late!
  • If you get there past your time slot, you may have to wait to get in with the next group from the next time slot.
  • If you have a bag with you, you can leave it at coat check for free!
  • If you need to use the restroom, there are 2. One is in the second room and the other is near the exit.
  • You can ask any of the people in the blue Dream Machine jumpsuits to take a picture for you and they will be more than happy to help you.
  • If you get left behind by your group in one of the rooms, it is okay. You can just join the next group.
  • The important thing is that you take your time and do not feel rushed at all. Take advantage of all the time you have. You did just pay $40 after all ;)
  • Make sure to keep your ears open for when they announce the secret room (p.s. it it located in the laundry room). Trust me, it is worth it!

If you want to visit Dream Machine, you have until July 29th! You can get your tickets here. I can't wait to see your fabulous pictures. See you on my next post ;)

*Update: Dream Machine has extended their stay from May 31st to July 29th! :)
