Obsession Session

Okay guys, so this is the very first of a series of posts I'd like to call Obsession Session. I will write one of these posts every once in a while and talk about some of current favorite things. These will include a wide range of items such as beauty products, clothing, accessories, food and so much more! For this first post, I've collected a few items that I've been quite obsessed with lately. Check them out below :)

These are a few of my favorite things...

Steve Madden Bag: $30.00 (TJ Maxx)

This bag is such a lovely addition to my summer wardrobe. It's a medium sized brown leather purse and I absolutely love it because it isn't too big yet it fits all my everyday necessities. In addition, it looks great with many of my outfits. I also really like all the small details like the gold studs and the big fringe decoration at the front of it.

Bandanas (the first 3 on top) - Urban Outfitters: $6.00 each
My go to accessory this summer have been bandanas. I absolutely fell in love with them after seeing a few of my favorite bloggers and celebrities pairing them with their outfits, so I decided to get a few of them myself. I found them at a really good price at Urban Outfitters so I bought 3 of them in the colors green, red, and black. The one at the bottom was given to me by my best friend and I love it so much because she personalized it by manually sewing french fries as decor since we are both obsessed with them. I love bandanas so much because they are a simple yet fashionable way to spice up your outfit. I've been wearing mine a lot either around my neck or even as a hair accessory.

Urban Outfitters (Emma Sunglasses) - $16.00
These are by far my favorite pair of sunglasses! I just think they are so cute and I love how well they fit my face. They are also a great addition to a simple outfit.

USB Phone Fan (Brand: HAWEEL): $6.99 (Amazon)

I can't even begin to count how many of my friends laughed when I told them I actually purchased this little genius product. To them it was pointless, but they were totally wrong it is my favorite thing ever! It's basically just a little fan that you plug into your iPhone through the charger port and it blows air for you. I know it may seem silly to some but this thing has been a life changer and the only thing that is getting me through these super hot summer days. They especially come in handy when you're stuck waiting for the underground train or when you're at the beach laying under the blazing sun. Regardless of what everyone else says, I am so obsessed with it and the best part is that it is in my favorite color: pink!

Ricola cough drop: $3.99 (Target)
I was very unfortunate to catch a terrible cold this summer. It was honestly so ridiculous; who gets a cold during summer?! Anyway, it was pretty bad; I could barely get out of bed. Luckily, I discovered these amazing and delicious cherry flavored cough drops from the brand Ricola and they were the only thing that helped soothe my aching throat.

Vaseline Lip Therapy - $3.49
I've recently become obsessed with moisturizing every night before bed and my lips are no exception. I saw this cocoa butter lip moisturizer while shopping at Target and decided to give it a try and I'm so glad I did because I really like it. Not only does it smell good, but it also really makes my lips feel super smooth and so soft.

Revlon Ultra HD Matte Lip Color - $7.99
So it seems that many people have been obsessed with matte lipsticks and after seeing people review and rave about them I decided to purchase some for myself and give them a try. One of the ones I bought was from Revlon. I'm not really sure I like the consistency of it, but I do love the color (which is called Devotion) and I love the applicator as well. The color kind of reminds of Barbie's lip color which makes it so fun and flirty for summer.

NYX BB Cream - $10.59 (Target)
Okay guys, this product is a game changer. Personally, I'm not a fan of BB creams because as light as they may feel on the face, I never find that they give me enough coverage; however, this one from NYX has been an everyday product for me. I love this product so much because not only is it light and smooth, but it actually gives me enough coverage and it lasts throughout the entire day. This BB cream is great for those hot summer days where wearing foundation is just impossible because you would just sweat it off and look cake-y and also for anyone that doesn't like wearing too much makeup.

NYX Dark Circle Concealer - $5.99 (Target)
This is another NYX product that has totally changed my life. I have really bad under eye dark circles so this little thing has really helped a lot with that. I use it right after I prime my face and right before applying my bb cream and regular concealer. I kind of use it as a base for my concealer and it works perfectly because it gives me double the coverage.

Garnier Micellar - $6.99 (Target)
This has got to be one of the best makeup removers I've ever used. It lasts a long time and it removes every little bit of makeup. I also love it because it doesn't make my face feel sticky or oily and it works great with my sensitive skin. I would definitely recommend.

Stress Relief Eucalyptus Tea - $16.00 (Bath and Body Works)
Neutrogena Body Oil - $13.19 (Target)
Like I mentioned previously, I have become obsessed with moisturizing every night before bed. Before, I used to use body lotion; however, I recently discovered the beauties that are body oils. I found two in particular that I really like. The first one is a eucalyptus tea oil from Bath and Body Works that is supposed to help with stress relief. I really like this one because it really does help me relax before laying down and it makes my skin really soft. One thing I would change, however, is the consistency of it. It is a little thick for my liking and it can feel a little sticky. The other body oil I really like is by Neutrogena. I think I like this one just a little bit better because it is easier and smoother to apply. I also really like the smell of it.

Anyway guys, this brings us to the end of my very first Obsession Session post. I hope you guys enjoyed reading about a few of my favorite things. I also hope you guys try some of them and that you like them too. Can't wait to be back with more!

- xoxo, Diana
